I am not a fitness expert, but the workout plans in this app seem to balanced in the right way. Most routines work two different muscle groups each day (and still get some cardio in), rotating muscle groups throughout the week. The all-over programs in other apps seem to try everything each day, which seems strange. It does include exercises for both machines and free weights in all the plans which is great for people with access to a full gym. It is nice to be able to save the routines that you use most often in an easily accessible location, and when you leave the app (to change a song) you are brought back to the same place. I wish that the information logged in your last workout was more easily readable without swiping back through 7 days. One of the competing apps allows you to access your music while staying in the app which would also be a nice touch to add later.
Program closes anytime I select any workout plan. Which makes program useless.
Could be better if I could add my own exercises that are not available in the Exercises list. Please consider that on next update.
Crashes after u click on workouts. Makes it pretty much useless.

This app used to be free and it sucked. Now they added some new exercises and you have to pay for them. Check out some other free apps

this is one of the best fitness pss. Lets you custoize your workouts, but you are limited to the exercises they have. They have a big selection of exercises but are missing exercises I like to do. But the exercises I ike to do that are missing are not your typical exericises. Thats why I would like something in the app so I could log every workout in this app.
Great exercise library with explanations and HD photos. Thats about the extent of its usefulness to me, however. Pre-defined workouts are OK. To be useful beyond a simple library absolutely must have the ability to create exercises, pre-define number of sets with weight/reps, calculate new 1RMs and xRMs based on lifts performed, and track 1RM progress. When these are met youll have a near perfect app and youll be rated accordingly.
It seems like a perfect app in terms of finding a pre-defined routine or creating your own. Great video demos! It does allow you to log what youve done. But my only complaint is it doesnt show me a graph or history of what Ive done. It does keep track of each set so I know what up for next time. But I would like to see a a report that shows me the date of when I started doing something, and then see how Ive progressed over time. I had this on droid with the jfit app and I miss it.
So I downloaded this app and every time I try to create an account it gives me an error about my email that I entered or password I created...I can assure you I am smart enough to enter a valid email and a password of at least 6 characters, one of which is a number. I think I will try to find something else.
Great app lots of really good workout tips....if you can get in the app to see them. Asks for password every time, but never seems to work with my entry. So I have to check to make sure if I remembered it correctly or not. What a waste of time. And why would it even need to be password protected? What, you wouldnt want someone to see a workout routine? Sorry this app gets deleted.
This app worked well for a while but now it gets stuck in the updating screen then closes. If it would let me get last the sign on screen then it would be fine.
There is no iPhone 5 support :(
The place where it should tell you what your last weight and reps you did of an exercise is blank. Its frustrating because then you have to go back and find when you last did it to see what weight you did.
Every time I open this app, it tells me I need to create an account, and when I try to do that, it crashes. EVERY. TIME. Dont bother with this.
Its a great app but its charging me again for the 90 day work out phases
